ACCURATE KNOWLEDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (AKIS) is a private English-speaking school in Bamako, offering education from Kindergarten through High School. English is the primary language of instruction, and the school welcomes students from diverse nationalities. AKIS offers two internationally accredited educational programs: Clonlara, based on the American system, and NAMC Montessori. Through the Clonlara program, students earn officially recognized academic credits and an official transcript each year. AKIS emphasizes a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment. Enrollment is open throughout the year.

Discipline aims to help each child develop self-control and problem-solving skills as they grow and mature. We do not tolerate children harming themselves, others, or property. The boundaries we set are designed to protect and teach respect for oneself, the rights of others, and our environment. We seek to strengthen each child’s cultural identity while instilling respect for others. We never humiliate or ridicule a child for misbehavior, and physical punishment is not allowed. We use positive methods that promote self-esteem.
