Fifth grade is the capstone of elementary school. We ensure students are ready for middle school academically and socially, with official credits through Clonlara.
Complex texts, literary analysis, and extended writing. Students cite evidence and structure arguments.
Operations with fractions and decimals, volume, coordinate geometry, and algebraic thinking. Preparation for pre-algebra.
Integrated units with a focus on inquiry and research. Students present and defend their findings.
We build independence, organization, and self-advocacy so students enter Grade 6 with confidence.
